Udham singh Nagar bird flu: The confirmation of bird flu in Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand has increased the concern of the local administration and people. The administration immediately took action after receiving information about the sudden death of chickens in a chicken farm in Kishanpur in Kichha region. To prevent the risk of bird flu, the entire form was seized and sanitized and several restrictions were implemented in the surrounding area.
What happened in Kishanpur?
As soon as the news of sudden chickens died in the form of Kishanpur, the Tehsil administration team led by SDM Gaurav Pandey reached the spot. They safely buried the children of the dead chickens in the pit and sanitize the entire form. Samples taken from the farm were sent to Bareilly Lab, whose report came positive. The administration then closed the form for three months.

SDM Gaurav Pandey said that to prevent the spread of bird flu, one kilometer radius was declared an infected zone and 10 km radius as surveillance zone. During this time, the transport of chickens and chickens has been banned for 21 days. Other than this:
- Penk and chicken meat sold at the chicken shop in the area
- Municipality and police were instructed to monitor the market
- The public was appealed not to consume chicken meats and eggs for a few days.
