Amidst the possibilities of trade deal with the US, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a big statement during an event in the national capital Delhi on 7 August 2025. The Prime Minister clarified that India would not compromise with the interest of farmers. The PM also said that we will have to pay its price but I am ready. On Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement, Samajwadi Party MP Akhilesh Yadav said, ‘BJP should have thought 10 years ago that we should always be concerned about the interests of our farmers, agriculture and dairy products and we should focus on priority basis on each field.
