Bloody Holi was played amidst the colors of Holi in Navgachia, Bihar. Two youths were shot dead in a love dispute, while one youth was seriously injured. After the incident, sensation has spread in the entire area.
Taking immediate action, the police have arrested five accused in this case.
The matter is of Tetri Zeromile area of Navgachia police station area. Ajesh Kumar, resident of Pasraha police station area of Khagaria district, was having a love affair with a girl from Boraya village of Parbatta police station area for a long time. On the occasion of Holi, Ajesh Kumar had reached Borbas village with his two friends Gulshan Kumar and Neeraj Kumar.
Gulshan’s relative’s house was there, so the three friends were staying there. It is said that during this time, Ajesh secretly reached his girlfriend’s house to meet her. At that time the girl was alone in the house. Ajesh went inside the room to meet him, while his two friends stood outside the house and kept an eye.
But within a short time the girl’s family came to know about it. When he reached home and saw Ajesh with the girl inside the room, his anger flared up. The family members caught Ajesh and his two friends and started beating them.
It is alleged that the angry family members forcibly picked up the three youths from there and took them to the banana plantation near Kalbaliya Dhar, where they were brutally beaten and then shot.
Gulshan Kumar and Neeraj Kumar died on the spot after being shot, while Ajesh Kumar was also shot. However, despite being seriously injured, he somehow escaped from there and was successful in saving his life.
After the incident, the accused threw the bodies of both the deceased on the roadside with the intention of hiding them. The next morning the police recovered both the bodies, after which there was panic in the entire area.
As soon as information about the incident was received, Navgachia police swung into action. On the instructions of the Superintendent of Police, a Special Investigation Team i.e. SIT was formed. The team cracked the case within just 24 hours on the basis of technical and human research and arrested Nitish Kumar, Akhilesh alias Rubal, Sanjo Devi, Devo Mandal and Vijay Mandal.
According to the police, this whole matter is the result of love affair and family resentment. At present the arrested accused are being interrogated and raids are going on to recover the weapon used in the incident.
