Dharmendra spent a large part of his life in his grand farmhouse in Lonavala (Khandala), away from the glare of Mumbai. Spread over about 100 acres, this estate is no less than a royal palace. According to property experts and media reports, the price of this farmhouse is said to be between Rs 120 to 150 crore. This huge complex includes a luxurious bungalow, swimming pool, rock garden and a serene environment surrounded by natural beauty. Dharmendra himself used to call this estate situated amidst hills and waterfalls as heaven on earth.
Did Dharmendra live alone?
After frequently watching videos of Dharmendra alone on social media, people started questioning whether he lives alone in his farmhouse. On this, his son Bobby Deol had clarified that Dharmendra is not alone there, but his first wife Prakash Kaur also lives there. According to Bobby Deol, both father and mother love staying there. At this stage of his age, he likes the fresh air, peace and pure home-grown food very much.
He-Man was associated with the soil
Dharmendra, who was a glamorous star of cinema, was completely connected to the soil in real life. He did not live in a farmhouse just for the sake of name, but worked hard like a common farmer. Organic farming was done in his fields, rice, fruits and many types of vegetables were grown which were used by his family. Apart from this, he was also very fond of animal husbandry. His videos serving cows and buffaloes were widely seen on social media. Even at the age of 88, his spirit was praiseworthy.
Dharmendra was fond of cars
As much as Dharmendra’s simplicity was discussed, his hobbies were also discussed equally. Apart from luxurious houses in Mumbai, this 100-acre empire of Lonavala was a proof of his wealth. According to the report of CA Knowledge, his total net worth is said to be around Rs 450-500 crore. He also invested extensively in agricultural and non-agricultural land in Maharashtra. His fondness for cars has also been discussed a lot. His garage contained everything from classic vintage Fiat to modern luxury cars. He owned cars like Range Rover Evoque and Mercedes Benz SL500 (worth around Rs 98 lakh).
