Why couldn’t Ahan Shetty do any film for 4 years?
Ahan Shetty revealed that he was not allowed to sign films for four years. In an interview with Mid Day, Ahan revealed his situation after his debut film Tadap. He told- Tadap earned Rs 40 crores, at a time when films were not able to earn even Rs 10 crores. People said that the film was a huge flop in terms of earnings, but it had made profits. He said, “The time after that was very difficult for me. During that time my confidence was very weak. I was bound by a contract with Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and I was not allowed to sign any other film for four years. I got a lot of offers, but my hands were tied because of the contract.”

How did Ahan Shetty get Border 2?
In the interview, Ahan Shetty revealed that filmmaker JP Dutta and his daughter Nidhi had come to his house for dinner. Nidhi asked him if he would like to work in Border 2 and he accepted the offer. Ahan said, “I was skeptical for a few days because I couldn’t believe that they wanted to make me, a newcomer, a part of such a big film. I was not doing anything for four years and was struggling with a lot of complications. So, being a part of this film meant a lot to me.” Let us tell you that Ahan has played the character of Lieutenant Commander Mahendra Singh Rawat in Border 2, who was an officer of the 14th Frigate Squadron of the Indian Navy. Talking about the collection of Border 2, it has earned Rs 257.50 crore in 8 days. The earning of this film till 4 pm on the 9th day is Rs. 6.5 crores. The movie has collected more than Rs 350 crore at the worldwide box office.
