Amitabh Bachchan: She has been my co-star and we obviously used to meet each other when we were working together. There is no similarity between us socially. It’s just that we met each other.

Amitabh Bachchan: For years. I mean sometimes we bump into each other at some function. Like at an awards function or a social gathering…that’s all.

Amitabh Bachchan: No. We haven’t worked together for years.

Amitabh Bachchan: No. I have to face these charges every month. But to be honest, some of the recent allegations are absolutely absurd. Some people claim that I started living with them in their house and she started living in mine. And they have pictures of the house where I kept them. As if this is a big joke. That house is mine, my family lives there. My sick parents live there. I take care of them. I feel that it is extremely insensitive of the media to make such allegations against me without any concrete evidence and checking the truth. I want to ask him if he saw me doing anything immoral or something which cannot be accepted with that woman. I want to ask him when did you see us together? “That made you feel some kind of connection.”
What did Rekha say on her relationship with Amitabh?
Earlier on the same show, when Rekha was asked about her relationship with Amitabh Bachchan, she had said, “Absolutely. This is an absurd question. Till date, I have not found any man, woman, child, who could stop herself from falling passionately, madly, desperately in love with him. Then why should I be targeted? What should I deny? I don’t love him? I absolutely do. You take the love of the whole world and add a little more. I am that.” This is what it feels like for a human being.
