Thalapathy Vijay’s film, Jana Nayagan, was all set to release in theatres on January 9 this year. However, the film’s release hit a roadblock due to certification issues.
Amid this, Vijay’s introduction scene was leaked on the internet. After that, the entire movie was leaked online. On behalf of the film’s production house, KVN Productions LLP, counsel Vijayan Subramanian issued a notice. And now, Vijay has made his first public appearance amid the leak of his film. The actor was asked about the same matter. However, he dodged the questions.
Vijay dodges questions about Jana Nayagan leak
A video shared by Polimer News featuring Vijay’s public appearance is going viral on social media. In the video, Vijay didn’t react on being asked questions regarding the Jana Nayagan film leak. The actor simply kept walking ahead, and dodged the questions.
A while ago, advocate Vijayan Subramanian expressed that the leak has come as a . On behalf of the production house, the counsel issued a statement. In the statement, it was mentioned that Jana Nayagan was produced investing several hundred crores and carries enormous theatrical, OTT, satellite and commercial value. The advocate also added that it is a matter of urgency.
The statement also states that certain scenes from Vijay’s movie have been ‘illegally accessed, downloaded, copied and circulated’ by certain persons and forward to several third persons. And this has a created a serious threat of leakage through various social media platforms.
Chiranjeevi reacts to Jana Nayagan leak
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi took a stand for Vijay after Jana Nayagan full movie was leaked on social media. Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) account, the actor penned, “The unfortunate leak of #Jananayagan is something that deeply concerns me. Cinema is built on trust, effort, and the collective dreams of many. Such incidents affect all of us in the industry and remind us how crucial it is to protect our creative work.”
He added that everyone stands with KVN Productions in containing the damage and punishing the culprits. He urged his followers to extend their support and protect cinema. The actor further sent out a strong messag saying, “Kill piracy, save cinema.’
