Tesla to Open Third Showroom in India: A few weeks after entering the Indian market and launching the Model Y, Tesla is set to open its third showroom in India soon, if we go by data analytics firm CRE Matrix’s report. According to the report, Tesla has leased 33,475 sq ft retail and service centre space for 9 years at Orchid Business Park, Sohna Road, Gurugram. The monthly rent will be Rs 40 lakh, a figure that could go up by 4.75 per cent per annum.
While the opening date of the Gurugram showroom is yet to be revealed, we can confirm the opening of Tesla’s second showroom in Delhi on August 11. Starting this date, the American EV giant will commence its operations with the Tesla Experience Centre at Worldmark 3 in Aerocity. Tesla’s first showroom in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex area came alongside the launch of the Model Y last month. The model carries a price tag of Rs 59.89 lakhs (ex-showroom, India).
Tesla Model Y: On-Road Price, Gurugram
The Tesla Model comes in two variants in the co: Standard RWD (rear-wheel drive) and Long Range RWD. The former is priced at Rs 59.89 lakhs, while the latter can be had at Rs 67.89 lakhs. However, these are ex-showroom prices.

As far as the on-road pricing of the Tesla Model Y in Gurugram goes, the brand’s entry-level model commands Rs 66.77 lakhs, which includes Rs 2,92,818 as GST, Rs 59,890 as TCS, Rs 5,77,141 as estimated road tax and charges, Rs 50,000 as administration and service fee, and Rs 800 as the FASTag charge.
The Long Range RWD is available at an on-road price of Rs 75.61 lakhs. The price is inclusive of Rs 3,30,913 GST, Rs 67,890 TCS, Rs 6,53,331 estimated road tax, Rs 50,000 administration and service fee, and Rs 800 FASTag. Notably, the on-road prices are subject to change without notice and may vary for each customer.

Tesla Model Y: Specifications
The Model Y is equipped with two different battery capacities, and claims a WLTP-certified range of up to 622 km. The standard version can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, while the long-range variant can do the same in 5.6 seconds. Top speed is rated at 201 km/h. As per Tesla, the Long Range RWD can be fully charged in just 15 minutes using the brand’s V4 Supercharger with a 250 kW capacity.
