There is high alert of terrorist attack in 4 states including Delhi for Republic Day. At the same time, Kerala’s 100% digital literacy and water metro themed tableau has been selected for the parade. Tableaus from a total of 17 states will be included.

New Delhi: In view of the Republic Day celebrations, central intelligence agencies have issued high alert in four states including Delhi. This action has been taken after receiving intelligence information that pro-Khalistan organizations and terrorist groups operating from Bangladesh are planning attacks in different parts of the country. Security agencies have been instructed to maintain tight security and increase surveillance in crowded places and important areas during festivals. It is believed that these groups are quite active in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana and Punjab. On this basis, an alert has been issued to the states.

Kerala tableau also included in Republic Day parade

At the same time, preparations for large-scale celebrations in the country on Republic Day are being completed. Preparations for the Republic Day parade in the country’s capital are also in the final stages. Kerala’s tableau has been selected for this year’s Republic Day parade. The Union Defense Ministry has selected the design of the Kerala tableau, the theme of which is 100% Digital Literacy and Kochi Water Metro. The Defense Ministry’s instructions were to present the design using either ‘Mantra of Independence – Vande Mataram’ or ‘Mantra of Prosperity – Self-reliant India’ as the theme. The state is presenting the theme ‘Water Metro and 100% Digital Literacy: Self-reliant Kerala for Self-reliant India’ under the theme ‘Mantra of Prosperity – Self-reliant India’.

This year 17 states have been shortlisted to present their tableaux on the Path of Duty. Apart from Kerala, states like Assam, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Nagaland, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Union Territories of Puducherry and Jammu and Kashmir along with several ministries will also participate with their tableaux on the duty path. After five rounds of screening, Kerala was selected to present its tableau.
