To be fair, Owens tried to smooth it over by saying, “Deebo’s my guy, I love Deebo.” But that didn’t stop the internet from roasting or defending both sides.

The wild part? TO isn’t the first to bring this up. Even Deebo Samuel himself admitted last season that he was playing above his ideal weight, which may have impacted his performance. He was listed at 215 pounds but reportedly showed up around 225 lbs for the 49ers last season.
