Telangana High Court grants bail to Pilot Rohit Reddy in Moinabad drugs case

Hyderabad: Telangana High Court granted bail to Pilot Rohit Reddy, the former MLA of Tandur in Vikarabad district, in Moinabad farmhouse drugs case, Tv9 Telugu reported.

The court has imposed conditions requiring him to appear before the investigating officer daily, to surrender his passport to the police and directed him to cooperate with the investigation and to refrain from influencing witnesses.

Rohit Reddy tests positive for drugs:

The case against him was registered on March 14, 2026 by Telangana Police’s anti-narcotics unit (EAGLE), after they raided his farmhouse and found narcotic substances while detaining 11 people.

The detained included TDP MP Putta Mahesh Kumar and Rohit Reddy, who along with his brother Ritesh Reddy and Namit Sharma tested positive for drugs.

Charges were filed against them for consuming drugs and for attempting to open fire on the SOT police personnel who had arrived to conduct inspections.

Union Minister Kishan Reddy writes to CM Revanth Reddy:

Separately, Union Minister Kishan Reddy has written an open letter to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, addressing issues over land allocation for roads and parking near Charlapalli Railway Station, as well as the road widening project at Secunderabad Station. He noted that the narrow roads near Charlapalli Station are causing inconvenience to the public and requested that they be widened and an additional five acres of land is required near the station for parking purposes.
