As the assembly elections in Bihar are getting closer, new equations have started forming in state politics. Tejashwi Yadav, who has so far rejected the alliance with Nitish Kumar, has again indicated the alliance with Nitish Kumar.
He has clearly stated that if the Grand Alliance does not get a majority, they are ready for alliance with JDU – but on one condition: He needs the post of Chief Minister.
Lalu had already given signs
RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav said in the early 2025 that his doors are always open for Nitish Kumar.
‘If Nitish again comes into the Grand Alliance, we will forgive him and work together.’ However, at that time Tejashwi Yadav had opted out of this statement and took a tough stand against Nitish.
Now change the tone, increased equation
Tejashwi Yadav now said: ‘If the seats of the Grand Alliance are less after the results, then we are ready to come with Nitish Kumar to strengthen the alliance, but the Chief Minister’s post will be our condition.’ Accusing the BJP, he said, ‘BJP is plotting to end JDU. Nitish ji also understands this thing now.
Will JDU-RJD come together again?
It is clear from this statement that after the election in Bihar, a new grand alliance can be seen again, in which JDU and RJD can come together again. This strategic flexibility of Tejashwi is also considered an attempt to lead him to power.
