Tejashwi Yadav, who reached Purnia before PM Modi’s meeting, furious after seeing the plight of GMCH. Tejashwi Yadav Inspired GMCH PATNA BEFORE PM Modi Rally Bihar Chunav 2025

Tejashwi Yadav conducted a surprise inspection of Purnia Medical College and Hospital, revealed the failures of the NDA government’s health system and appealed to Prime Minister Modi to see the real situation.

Patna: Before the meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Leader of Opposition Mr. Tejashwi Yadav conducted a surprise inspection of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Purnia late at night. During this, he highlighted the fierce failures of the 20 -year NDA government’s health system in the hospital.

Tejashwi Yadav said that GMCH, which has got the status of medical college, does not exist even ICU. The trauma center is closed and the cardiology department is not the only heart disease department. Three patients are being kept on the same bed, while the bedsheets of the patients change within 15-20 days. According to him, the cleanliness of the hospital is very poor. The toilet has been made two feet high for patients associated with orthopedic and disabled surgery, which also makes patients difficult to walk.

Lack of human resources is the biggest problem of the hospital. Only 55 nurses are employed for 255 nurses in the medical college, and only 18 nurses are on duty at a time due to working in three shifts. If someone is on leave, this number decreases even more. At the same time, 80% of the posts of doctors are vacant and only four OT assistants are available throughout the hospital.

Tejashwi Yadav said, “Due to lack of doctors, health workers, lab technicians, dresser and other staff in government hospitals and medical colleges, about 10,000 patients are going to private hospitals every day. Corrupt ministers and officials of the NDA government are spending crores only to build and buy equipment, but technicians and employees are not being appointed to operate them.” He also alleged that many of the 23 departments are completely closed, professors and assistant prefears are only for name, and medical interns have not received salary for six months.

Tejashwi Yadav warned Prime Minister Modi that he must see this situation before coming to Purnia. He said, “Prime Minister, the people of Bihar have the right to know that the extent to which the NDA government and 11 -year double engine of the Center have failed to the government’s rule, to what extent the health, education and administrative system has failed. The public should not demonstrate only jumlas and speeches in front of the public.”

Tejashwi Yadav finally said that Prime Minister Modi should also visit this medical college with the Chief Minister after 2005, so that the public can be shown the whole truth. He warned, “If this did not happen, people will say that no one knows how the health and administrative system was in Bihar before 2005.”
