Tej Pratap Yadav has turned against his brother Tejashwi in Bihar elections 2025. He raised questions on Tejashwi’s political ability and said that he is not a ‘people’s leader’ and is on the strength of his father. Tej Pratap is contesting from Mahua seat from his party JJD.
Tej Pratap Yadav, who is contesting against the candidate of his own father’s party, RJD, from Mahua Assembly seat in Bihar Assembly elections 2025, has now started openly opposing his younger brother Tejashwi Yadav. After giving a sharp statement a day ago like ‘I am ready to die, but I will not join RJD’, now Tej Pratap has raised questions on Tejashwi’s political ability.
Tej Pratap Yadav, who was on a tour of his Mahua assembly constituency on Saturday, while talking to journalists, expressed strong objection to Tejashwi Yadav being called ‘Jananayak’. He clearly said that Tejashwi Yadav is not a public leader.
Tej Pratap said, “This title is only for big and established leaders. There are people like Jannayak Jaiprakash Narayan, Ram Manohar Lohia and Lalu Prasad Yadav. But Tejashwi Yadav is not a Jannayak. He
“On my father’s strength, not on my own.”
Tej Pratap Yadav did not stop here. He clearly linked the younger brother’s identity to his father and raised questions about his own competence. He said, “He is on the strength of our father, not on his own.” Giving advice to his younger brother, Tej Pratap further said, “The day Tejashwi Yadav comes under our control, then we will be the first to call him Jannayak.”
Let us tell you that in the Bihar Assembly elections, while on one hand Tejashwi Yadav is leading the entire grand alliance and is the face of the post of Chief Minister, on the other hand, his elder brother and chief of Janshakti Janata Dal Party (JJD) Tej Pratap Yadav is openly challenging him.
Tej Pratap is contesting separate elections
It is noteworthy that Tej Pratap Yadav has formed his new party ‘Janshakti Janata Dal’ and has fielded candidates on many seats in the Bihar Assembly elections. He himself is a candidate from Mahua assembly seat, where he has a direct contest with the RJD candidate.
