Bihar Election 2025: Tej Pratap Yadav, elder brother of CM face Tejashwi Yadav of Grand Alliance in Bihar, is once again in the news. He said that he has many options after the elections. Tej Pratap described the people of Mahua as his real family and also hinted at not having hatred towards anyone. When asked who he would form an alliance with after the elections, Tej Pratap refused to give a direct answer. He said, ‘There are thousands of options…after victory, all options are open.’ This statement has increased suspense in political circles.
People of Mahua are the real family – Tej Pratap
Describing the people of Mahua as his family, Tej Pratap said, ‘You asked whether the family abandoned me. My family is here, the people of Mahua. Whatever we do, we do it from our heart and not for the politicians. He also said that the people of Mahua want jobs and development and people always give priority to their future.
Political or family war?
Tej Pratap Yadav made it clear that his contest in Mahua is political, not personal. He said, ‘We do not fight with anyone. We do not fight with anyone who is a devotee of Krishna or Mahadev. It is not in our nature. This statement is considered very important keeping in mind his family and political situation.
Separated from RJD and formed its own party
After being ousted from RJD in May, Tej Pratap formed his own party Janashakti Janata Dal (JJD). Whose election symbol is blackboard. Earlier, quoting the words of Lord Krishna from Mahabharata, he had said, ‘This is the battlefield. No brother, no nephew, only enemy. He also said that he would choose death rather than returning to RJD.
Distance from family and politics
Relations between Tej Pratap and Tejashwi Yadav are still tight. Recently both of them met at Patna airport, but parted ways without talking. However, their mother and former Chief Minister Rabri Devi has blessed both the sons before the elections.
