Teeja Pora Festival Raipur: Vishnudev Sai in Raipur honored Chhattisgarhi culture by attending Teja-Pora festival. He met the women and wished them a festival. Teja-Pora is a symbol of the traditional culture of the state.
Raipur News: The traditional festival of Chhattisgarh was celebrated with great pomp on Sunday at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in the capital Raipur on the Navata of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai. A large number of women from all over the state arrived to attend this grand event organized on the Navata of ‘Vishnu Bhaiya’. The ministers and public representatives of the state government offered saris and sisters and were presented as a gift saree, makeup material and Chhattisgarhi Kaleva.
Deputy Chief Minister wishes Teej
Chief Guest Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw greeted the mothers and sisters present for Teeja festival. Addressing the Women’s Conference, she said that Teeja is an important festival of honor, respect and determination of women power in Chhattisgarh. He wished all the mothers and sisters who wished their husband-family’s safety and prosperity by keeping Nirjala fast. Saw said that such a large number of mothers and sisters on the Navata of Chief Minister Sai prove the importance of this festival itself.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, the state government is continuously working to increase the honor and pride of Chhattisgarh Mahtari. Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, more than 70 lakh mothers and sisters of the state are getting an amount of one thousand rupees per month. With this, they are becoming financially empowered and are standing shoulder to shoulder with the husband to operate the family. He said that the government will continue to bring such schemes even further to make women self -reliant.

Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam also congratulated the Teeja-Pora festival and said that this opportunity is very special for all Teejharin sisters. This festival is not limited to religious rituals only, but is a symbol of happiness, solidarity and intimacy for women.

Teja is a festival of religious, social and natural harmony. Parents work to keep the family equal by connecting the family. Suhagan women worship Shiva-Parvati by wishing her husband’s longevity by keeping Nirjala fast. In the spring, the fields and barns become green, in which the tireless hard work of cows and bats contribute. With this hard work, our paddy rooms fill.
