Actress Tejasswi Prakash is currently serving as a judge and mentor on the fifth season of the web gaming reality show ‘Playground.’ She firmly believes that technology can never replace human creativity.
During a promotional event for the gaming show in Mumbai, she addressed concerns about whether technology is diminishing the value of art. Tejasswi responded with confidence, stating, “Technology can never replace real art, regardless of how many shows utilize AI. While we have incorporated an AI concept into our show, it doesn’t mean we will allow AI to become a mentor. I don’t think that will ever happen.”
However, she acknowledged that AI can be a useful tool for enhancing visual entertainment to some extent.
Tejasswi is currently mentoring alongside Arush Bhola and Elvish Yadav in the gaming reality show, with the three leading different teams this season. The show’s founders and producers, including CarryMinati, Mortal, and Trigger Insaan, are also involved in various capacities.
This show is notable as India’s first gaming and e-sports reality series, blending entertainment, competition, and influencer culture. It revolves around the concept of a virtual playground, bringing together young creators, gamers, and internet celebrities. Participants engage in various challenges while managing friendships, rivalries, and teamwork. The show is available for streaming on the major OTT platform Amazon MX Player.
