BCCI may soon field two Indian teams simultaneously. According to media reports, apart from the ODI series against West Indies, the Indian cricket team can also participate in the Asian Games in October. According to reports, the West Indies series may go till October and during this time Asian Games will be organized in Japan where India’s T20 team will also participate. India had won the gold medal in the last Asian Games.
BCCI will select 30 players
If Cricbuzz report is correct then BCCI will select 30 Indian players. Out of which 15 players will try to win the gold medal in the Asian Games, while the remaining 15 players will play the ODI series against West Indies. Let us tell you that even before this, Team India has played two series simultaneously. In the year 2021, one Indian team was playing the WTC final in England under the captaincy of Virat Kohli and then a 5-match Test series, while the other team played ODI and T20 series in Sri Lanka under the captaincy of Shikhar Dhawan. India is full of talented players and apparently BCCI is not going to have any problem in selecting players.
