Who were those teachers? Who made Rama Maryada Purushottam and Krishna as Yogeshwar
Teachers Day Special: On the Guru-teacher Day of Ram and Krishna, know the education of two incarnations that were coined at the hands of the hands. When the Guru is bowed to the Guru across the country on Teachers’ Day, the story of Rama and Krishna becomes the biggest example in itself. The Guru’s place in the life of both incarnations remained so high that without his education could not be completed.
Maharishi Vasistha was the guru who taught Lord Rama. He was the Rajguru of Ayodhya and he taught the four brothers Ram-Laxman, Bharata and Shatrughna of Vedas, Shastra, Dhanurveda and religion. Maharishi Vasistha told Rama that the king runs not only with power, but with religion. His every sermon became the foundation of the ideal character of Rama.
At the same time, Maharishi Sandipan was the guru of Krishna. In the Sandipan Ashram, Krishna educated with Balarama and Sudama. Here he took knowledge of Vedas, scriptures, weapons and politics. The importance of Maharishi Sandeepan increases further than that Krishna brought his dead son back from the sea in Gurudakshina. This incident gives a message that a true disciple can go to any extent for his guru.
In the tradition of Hinduism, the place of Guru is said to be higher than God. Because the Guru only gives that vision to the disciple, so that he can understand the true purpose of life. This is the reason that his gurus also laid the foundation of the life of Rama and Krishna, the two greatest incarnations of Lord Vishnu. Maharishi Vishwamitra made Rama Maryada Purushottam and Maharishi Sandipani gave Krishna the knowledge of Yogeshwar. On Teachers’ Day, you know the amazing saga of these two divine gurus.
Vishwamitra: Who created Rama Maryada Purushottam
The life of Rajkumar Ram of Ayodhya turned in a new direction when Maharishi Vishwamitra took him with him. The education that started from here, which made Rama above the avatar and made Maryada Purushottam. Vishwamitra gave him the highest education of archery, weapons and war. At the time of Tadka slaughter, he taught Rama that drastic steps have to be taken to protect religion. Winning Sita Swayamvar by dissolving Shiv Dhanush in Janakpur was also the result of Guru’s education. Vishwamitra explained to Rama that dignity is the biggest weapon for the good of society. This is the reason that even today Rama is called Maryada Purushottam.
Sandipani: Who made Krishna Yogeshwar
When Rajkumar Krishna of Dwarka reached the ashram of Maharishi Sandipani, there was no special arrangement for him. He went through penance, discipline and education just like other disciples. Krishna took deep education of Vedas, Upanishads, scriptures and warfare. He understood the importance of religion and policy in the ashram itself. Sandipani taught him that true religion is the establishment of truth and destruction of unrighteousness. This education gave him the ability to become the preacher of the Gita and the charioteer of Arjun. This is the reason that in the Mahabharata war, he is called not only a warrior, but Yogeshwar.
Two ideals were created by teaching of gurus
Rama renounced and followed dignity throughout his life.
Krishna showed the path of life -long policy and religion.
But the basis of the greatness of both was the education of their gurus. This tradition gives the message to Hinduism that Guru not only knowledge, but also the direction and character of life. Therefore, in Hinduism, it is believed that the Guru is the power that makes an ordinary human being Maryada Purushottam and Yogeshwar.
