The highly-anticipated Tata Sierra EV is finally here. The electric SUV lineup has been offered in five trims, priced between Rs 18.79 lakh – Rs 25.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Prices for the 63kWh RWD variants start at Rs 18.79 lakh and go up to Rs 22.79 lakh. The 75kWh RWD configuration is available across three variants – Adventure, Empowered and Empowered A – priced at Rs 22.19 lakh, Rs 23.79 lakh and Rs 24.79 lakh, respectively.
The range-topping Empowered A 75kWh AWD (QWD) variant has been offered at Rs 25.99 lakh. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom. At this price point, it directly takes on the Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta Electric, Maruti Suzuki eVitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella and MG ZS EV. Within Tata Motors’ EV portfolio, the Sierra EV sits between the Curvv EV and Harrier EV. Bookings have commenced nationwide, while deliveries will begin on July 15, 2026.

Battery Options & Range
Built on Tata’s activ.ev+ architecture, the Tata Sierra EV comes with two battery pack options, 63kWh and 75kWh, delivering a claimed MIDC range of 565km and 665km, respectively. Both batteries are paired with a rear-mounted motor, while the 75kWh dual-motor AWD is exclusively offered on the range-topping Empowered A variant.
Tata claims that the Sierra EV AWD can do 0 to 100kmph in 5.8 seconds in Boost Mode. The Empowered QWD variant comes with several exclusive features such as a 540-degree camera, low-speed cruise control and six terrain modes – Normal, Sand, Grass/Snow, Mud/Gravel, Rock Crawl and Custom.
Charging Options & Time
The Sierra EV supports three charging options – a standard home charging solution, a 7.2 kW AC charger, and a 120 kW DC fast charger. Using the 120kW DC fast charger, the battery can be charged from 20-80% in about 25 minutes. In just 15 minutes, the 63kWh and 75kWh battery packs can add a claimed 238km and 263km range top up, respectively. Tata Motos is offering a lifetime battery warranty, which covers the battery for 15 years from the date of vehicle registration.

Design & Colour Options
On the exterior, the new Tata Sierra EV features a body-coloured closed-off grille, redesigned bumpers and ‘Sierra’ lettering placed below the front LED light bar. It retains the original upright stance, 19-inch alloy wheel design, blacked-out glass element and connected LED lighting.
The EV lineup is available in seven colour options – Rishikesh Rapids (new), Nainital Nocturne (new), Pristine White, Andaman Adventure, Coorg Cloud, Bengal Rouge and Pure Grey.
Interior & Features

Save for a few EV-specific changes, the interior of the Tata Sierra EV looks identical to its ICE counterpart. Higher trims are exclusively offered with a triple screen setup comprising a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch passenger display. The lower variants are available with a dual screen setup.
Other key features include dual zone climate control, powered and ventilated front seats, a 12-speaker JBL Black sound system, a panoramic sunroof, cabin air purifier, ambient lighting, connected car tech, auto park assist, HUD (head-up display), V2L and V2V functionality, OTA (over-the-air) updates, 6 airbags, Level 2 ADAS and more.
