Tamannaah Bhatia’s The VVAAN Look Celebrates Bihar Heritage With Madhubani Artistry

Tamannaah Bhatia’s The VVAAN look is a beautiful celebration of Bihar’s heritage, spirituality and traditional artistry. Ahead of her upcoming film The VVAAN, the actress shared a series of pictures from her time by the Ganga on the auspicious occasion of Radha Ashtami. Dressed in an ensemble inspired by Bihar and Chhath traditions, Tamannaah brought together age-old craftsmanship and contemporary fashion.

For the special appearance, Tamannaah collaborated with Torani to create an ensemble that felt deeply rooted in heritage while retaining a modern fashion sensibility. The highlight of her outfit was a hand-painted Madhubani odhna, created by four artists as one continuous piece of storytelling.

The intricate artwork beautifully brought the world of Mithila to life. At the centre of the odhna were depictions of Radha and Krishna, surrounded by detailed motifs inspired by the region. Each element carried its own symbolism, making the piece more than just a fashion accessory. It served as a visual representation of faith, stories and the cultural surroundings that have shaped generations of Madhubani artistry.

The colour palette was equally meaningful. Tamannaah explained that the yellow hue transitioning into a deep blue was inspired by the Chhath tradition of offering prayers to both the setting and rising sun. The transition of colours therefore represented light as it leaves and returns, adding a deeper cultural significance to the ensemble.

To complete the look, Tamannaah accessorised with Diamond Chandelier Earrings from Tamannaah Fine Jewellery. Featuring an intricate cascade of diamonds and delicate drops, the statement earrings added a contemporary sparkle to the otherwise heritage-inspired appearance. Their versatile design complemented the ethnic ensemble while giving the look a glamorous finish.

Sharing the pictures, Tamannaah described the ensemble as their ode to Bihar and the world of The VVAAN. She also expressed her gratitude to Karan Torani, praising his understanding of spirituality and craftsmanship.
