Misha Agarwal’s family released an emotional statement, revealing the deep despair she faced over her fluctuating follower count.

They recalled how Misha, who held an LLB degree and was preparing for the judicial services exam (PCSJ), would often cry and seek comfort from her brother-in-law. “Since April, she had been deeply depressed, often hugging me and crying, saying, ‘Jijja, what will I do if my followers decrease? My career will be over.’”

Her family tried to reassure her, reminding her that social media was only a part of her life, not its entirety. “I reminded her of her talents, her LLB degree, and her preparation for PCSJ, telling her that she’ll become a judge one day and doesn’t need to worry about her career,” they added.
