After opting to bat, Afghanistan powered their way to 178/8 in 20 overs, with Gulbadin Naib smashing 69 off just 30 balls. Azmatullah Omarzai also chipped in with 36-ball 48 before captain Rashid Khan played a cameo of 15 from seven balls. In reply, Scotland were restricted to 123/9 by the Afghanistan bowlers.
