T20 World Cup Match: Former Pak cricketer exposed! Said- If India leaves you, you will become a beggar. Rameez Raja Warns Pcb Of Collapse Without Indian Funding T20 World Cup Update

Pakistan has announced to boycott the match against India in the 2026 T20 World Cup. Former PCB chief Rameez Raja had warned that the PCB is dependent on ICC funding, 90% of which comes from the Indian market. Without India, Pakistan Cricket Board may be ruined.

Only a few days are left for the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup tournament to begin. The T20 World Cup will officially start from February 7. Meanwhile, the Pakistan government has already announced that the Pakistani team will not participate in the match against India in Colombo on February 15, which has created a big drama. ICC is in a bit of trouble in this tussle between India and Pakistan. There is also talk that if Pakistan boycotts the match against India, it will be like hitting its own foot.

Amidst all this, a video clip of former Pakistan selection committee chief and former cricketer Rameez Raja is now going viral again, in which he had reminded all the PCB members how much trouble they could get into if they mess with India. In an attempt to challenge ICC and BCCI, Pakistan has announced to boycott the match against India in the upcoming T20 World Cup. But Rameez Raja had already warned about what would happen to Pakistan if it did so.

What did Rameez Raja say?

Talking about this in front of Pakistan Cricket Board, Rameez Raja had said, “ICC gets 90% of its revenue from the Indian market. Using the money earned from organizing tournaments, ICC distributes funds to all the other cricket boards of the world. If this funding stops, then the condition of Pakistan Cricket Board will deteriorate. Pakistan Cricket Board runs on 50% of the funds received from ICC. In a way, Pakistan cricket is running because of the business of India. If the Prime Minister of India decides this. That if we do not give funds to Pakistan, then this Pakistan Cricket Board may also get ruined.” This video is now going viral on social media.

Loss of Rs 2,200 crore

The match between India and Pakistan is no longer just cricket. It is estimated that if the match between India and Pakistan is cancelled, there will be a loss of around Rs 2,200 crore. Cricket earns money in many ways such as match broadcasting rights, advertising, sponsorship, ticket revenue and legal betting (outside India). If the India-Pak match is cancelled, there could be a loss of Rs 200 to 250 crore in advertising revenue alone. Broadcasters charge Rs 25 to 40 lakh for every 10 second advertisement aired during this match. Additionally, the cricket boards of India and Pakistan will immediately lose Rs 200 crore each in direct and indirect revenue.
