ICC increases T20 World Cup prize pool
This time ICC had fixed a total prize pool of 13.5 million dollars i.e. approximately Rs 123.77 crore. This amount is about 20 percent more than the 2024 T20 World Cup. A total prize money of $11.25 million was given in the last T20 World Cup. At that time, the champion Indian team got $2.45 million and South Africa, which lost in the final, got $1.28 million.
