Pakistan beats Namibia: Pakistan has won the do or die match against Namibia. Pakistan confirmed its place in the Super-8 by defeating Namibia by 102 runs in the match played in Colombo. It was important for Pakistan to win this match because its Super-8 ticket was to be decided through it.

Before Usman Tariq and Shadab Khan wreaked havoc in bowling, Namibia was also attacked by Sahibzada Farhan. Sahibzada scored an unbeaten 100 runs on 58 balls, on the basis of which Pakistan team managed to set a difficult target of 200 for Namibia by scoring 199 runs.

How can India and Pakistan clash in the semi-finals?

At the Super-8 stage, every team has to play one match each against the teams of its respective group. Meaning, India-Pakistan match cannot take place in Super 8 but there can be a clash between them in the semi-finals. This can happen if India remains on top from Group 1 and goes to the semi-finals and Pakistan becomes the second team to reach the semi-finals from Group 2 of Super-8.
