ICC vs BCB: Bangladesh cricket team has already been excluded from T20 World Cup 2026, now it is reported that ICC has also banned its sports journalists. ICC has refused to give accreditation to Bangladeshi sports journalists for coverage of the tournament. The big thing is that this is not only for the matches to be held in India, but also the matches which will be played in Sri Lanka, the journalists of Bangladesh will not be able to cover them.

However, no official information has yet come from ICC on this issue. But, there are reports that ICC has refused to give accreditation to sports journalists of Bangladesh for coverage of the matches between India and Sri Lanka.
Scotland will play in place of Bangladesh in T20 WC
Earlier, Bangladesh team was thrown out of the tournament by ICC due to its insistence of not playing in India. ICC has replaced Bangladesh with Scotland in the tournament. ICC made it clear that according to the rules of the tournament, all the teams will have to play at the designated venues. In this situation ICC had to take the drastic step of excluding Bangladesh. Even before making the announcement, ICC had sent an email to the Chairman of Bangladesh Cricket Board informing him about its decision.

Scotland will replace Bangladesh in Group C and will be seen playing its matches in the tournament on the same date on which Bangladesh’s matches were to be held. The Scotland team will start its campaign against West Indies on 7 February. After that, he will face Italy on 9th February. At the same time, on February 14, Scotland will face England, after which it will be seen playing its last group match against Nepal. This will be Scotland’s 7th T20 World Cup.
