But the tension of some teams has also increased. Actually, in the last 24 hours 4 players have been out of this tournament. In which the new name is New Zealand’s star all-rounder Michael Bracewell. Michael Bracewell has been ruled out of the rest of the tournament with a left hamstring injury. This injury happened again during the warm-up, he was already recovering from the same injury.
Big blow to New Zealand
Bracewell suffered this injury in the third ODI against India last month, where he could not field. After this he was also out of the five-match T20 series. He had returned to the team for the World Cup after completing rehabilitation, but now after getting injured again, the problem was confirmed in the scan. According to the medical team, it will take about three weeks for him to recover, due to which he will not be able to play any match in the World Cup.
The team management can include all-rounder Cole McConchie in the squad in place of Bracewell. He will be included as a traveling reserve in India, where fast bowler Ben Sears is also a reserve. Let us tell you that Michael Bracewell has already been out of big tournaments due to injury. He had to face injury even before the ODI World Cup in 2023. Even then he had missed being a part of the tournament.

Michael Bracewell is the fourth player to be eliminated from the tournament in the last 24 hours. Earlier, Jasdeep Singh of USA had withdrawn from the tournament due to injury. At the same time, UAE’s Mohammad Zohaib has been sent home by the team due to indiscipline. Apart from these, Sri Lanka’s star all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga had to be ruled out of the tournament due to a serious hamstring injury.
