In the PTI report quoting Bangladeshi board sources, it has been said that BCB has sent this email after discussion with Sports Ministry advisor Asif Nazrul. However, it has also been said in the report that there is no consensus on this issue within the Bangladeshi board itself and some members associated with it believe that instead of adopting such a strict attitude, the board should keep the avenues of discussion open with ICC and BCCI.
