  • First of all, wash the sweet potato thoroughly and then boil it in the cooker for 2 to 3 whistles.
  • The sweet potato has to be boiled so much that it can be easily peeled and mashed. Peel it and mash it in a bowl or grate it.
  • Now chop all the dry fruits and then add one teaspoon of desi ghee in the pan and roast the nuts and dry fruits and take them out in a plate.
  • Melt the remaining ghee in the pan and add mashed sweet potatoes to it and fry while stirring continuously for at least 7 to 8 minutes.
  • While roasting sweet potatoes, keep the flame medium or light. Fry it until its color becomes light golden and aroma starts coming out.
  • Add milk and jaggery to roasted sweet potatoes. After this cook it for some time. It will start getting thick. If ghee is less, a little more can be added.
  • Add nuts and dry fruits to the prepared sweet potato pudding and also add cardamom powder and cook for a minute.
  • In this way, your tasty sweet potato pudding is ready in a short time, which you can serve hot to the guests and everyone at home.
