Swami Chaitanyanand Saraswati alias Partha Sarathi had secret cameras installed in the girls’ hostels. Its live feed used to come on his mobile phone. He used to see girls going to the bathroom.
Swami chaitanyananda saraswati: There are shocking revelations in the FIR lodged against Swami Chaitanyanand Saraswati alias Partha Sarathi. It is learned that the director of Sharda Institute of Indian Management used to monitor the girl students through surveillance cameras installed in the hostel. He used to watch girls going to the bathroom live on his phone.
According to FIR, Chaitanyanand had installed secret cameras in the girls hostels under the guise of security. The feed of these cameras (including the cameras installed outside the toilets) used to come directly on its phone. With this, he used to monitor the activities of the girl students. A senior police officer said that apart from the cameras installed in the institute, CCTV surveillance was also imposed outside the hostel lobby and the bathroom. The hostel has 75 students of EWS (financially weaker sections).
Chaitanyanand deleted the DVR system of the institute
The students complaining against Chaitanyanand have taken admission in the post-graduate management diploma course under the EWS scholarship category. The students alleged that Chaitanyanand used this surveillance system to make him a victim. Investigators also found that parts of CCTV footage were deliberately wiped out, causing suspicion of trying to hide the case. The accused also tampered with the institute’s digital video recorder (DVR) system, destroying the important evidence of CCTV. However, the police believe that his BMW dacoit may give some concrete evidence.
Chaitanyanand kept the office to a torture room
The Delhi Police is investigating the role of warden and others. Digital evidence is gathering and searching the premises. The statements of the victims have been recorded before the judicial magistrate.

Sources had earlier claimed that Saraswati had converted its ground floor office into a “torture room” at the institute. Here students, especially the economically weaker sections, were allegedly exploited. This disclosure further enhances the allegations of sexual harassment and molestation against him.
