‘Swadeshi ka Sankalp’: Ashwini Vaishnaw uses Zoho, Mappls for Cabinet briefing

New Delhi: Union minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, while briefing the media on the Union Cabinet decisions on Wednesday, told the audience that the presentation he was showing had been made using Zoho Show — an indigenous platform. He added that the map included in it was sourced from Mappls by MapmyIndia — another homegrown platform.

In a post on X, Vaishnaw wrote: “Swadeshi ka Sankalp! Presentation created using Zoho Show, Map sourced from Mappls by MapmyIndia.”

Vaishnaw made switch to Zoho for documentation needs

The minister has earlier said he has begun using indigenous platforms for official work, including Zoho for documents, spreadsheets and presentations, and Mappls for maps. He had also used Zoho Show for his previous Cabinet briefing.

On September 22, Vaishnaw announced he would switch to Zoho for his documentation needs and urged others to adopt homegrown products and services as well.
