Suzuki Hayabusa’s High-Speed Crash Into Delivery Rider Ends In Tragedy: Video

A speeding Suzuki Hayabusa superbike crashed head-on into a Zomato delivery rider’s bike in Mysuru on July 6. The accident ended up killing both riders.

The incident was recorded on a CCTV camera and has now been shared on social media.

The video shared on social media shows the Suzuki Hayabusa superbike accelerating at high speed. It then hits the delivery rider who was riding along the side of the road. After the crash, the superbike then dragged the delivery rider ahead on the road. Later on, the two-wheeler ended up skidding and crashing. The delivery boy ends up falling on the ground away from his two-wheeler.

The Zomatic delivery rider, Kartik, died on the spot. The Suzuki Hayabusa rider, Syed Saroon from Chamarajanagar in Karnataka, lost control of the bike, skidding several meters. The bike later burst into flames, which is claimed to be because of a petrol leak. Following the incident, Syed was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries due to burn injuries.

The incident has been reported at the NR Traffic Police Station, and the authorities are continuing their investigation. Both bodies have been taken to the mortuary for their post-mortem examination.

Preliminary findings indicate that Syed might have been riding at excessive speeds before the accident. Some witnesses also reported that he was recording videos and doing stunts leading up to the event. These accounts are still pending verification. CCTV footage from adjacent cameras has been gathered as part of the investigation. The police have filed a case, and further inquiries are underway.

It is to be noted that the Suzuki Hayabusa is a renowned superbike demanding special skills from the rider to offer precise control. Furthermore, the bikes in this category offer immense power, which, if not controlled, can lead to fatal crashes. The Hayabusa, particularly, is capable of reaching a top speed of up to 300 kmph.
