Sushant Singh Rajput ‘Was Murdered’; Sister Shweta Claims Manager Disha Salian’s Death Left Him ‘Threatened’ Over Information He Had

Six years after Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic death, questions surrounding the circumstances of his demise continue to spark debate. Now, his sister Shweta Singh Kirti has made fresh claims, revisiting the actor’s state of mind in the days leading up to his death. In a new interview, she spoke about how deeply Disha Salian’s death had affected Sushant and alleged that he felt threatened because of certain information he possessed. According to Shweta, the late actor intended to reveal what he knew. Her latest comments have once again brought attention to the unanswered questions surrounding Sushant’s death, while offering a glimpse into what his family believes may have been troubling him.

Speaking on the Super Talks by The Moving Ship podcast, Shweta Singh Kirti recalled how deeply Sushant Singh Rajput was affected by his manager Disha Salian’s death. She claimed that the actor felt threatened and believed he was in danger because of certain information he possessed and intended to reveal. “He was badly affected by the death of Disha Salian (his manager), Sushant felt threatened and believed he was in danger because of information he possessed, which he intended to reveal,” she said. Shweta also questioned what she described as a “thin line” on Sushant’s throat, claiming that, in her view, such a mark was inconsistent with suicide.

Shweta further recalled what she saw when she reached Sushant’s residence after his death. “We had psychics, one in India and one in the US, both claimed that Sushant did not die by suicide but was murdered,” she claimed. Recalling the scene, she added, “Even when I reached the place there was no stool in room and it was locked from inside and he used to hate locking room from inside.”

Six years later, Shweta said the family continues to have questions about what happened, adding, “We have still no idea who was behind all this.” These remain Shweta’s claims and have not been independently established as facts.

Bollywood actor   was found dead at his Bandra residence in Mumbai on June 14, 2020, aged 34. His death was initially investigated by Mumbai Police before the case was taken up by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The postmortem examination concluded that he died due to asphyxia caused by hanging. The ED and NCB also conducted separate probes into financial and drug-related allegations linked to the case.

The CBI later filed a closure report, concluding that it found no evidence of foul play or abetment. However, Sushant’s family has continued to question the suicide theory and alleged that he was murdered. Over the years, his death has remained at the centre of intense public and media scrutiny, with several unverified claims and competing theories emerging despite official findings.

Sushant Singh Rajput first gained widespread popularity as Manav in the hit TV show Pavitra Rishta. He later transitioned to films with Kai Po Che! and went on to star in acclaimed movies including PK, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Kedarnath and Chhichhore.
