Nitish kumar cabinet decision: The Bihar government has made a big announcement to increase the honorarium of farmer advisors from 13,000 to Rs 21,000 per month before the assembly elections. The new rate will be applicable from 1 April 2025.
The increased salary of farmer advisors-what is the reason?
26 agendas were approved in the Bihar cabinet meeting, but the main subject of discussion was the increase in honorarium of farmer advisors. This decision chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will strengthen the workforce of advisors and will increase the facility of giving necessary advice to the farmers. Approval of withdrawal and expenditure of Rs 67.87 crore has also been provided from the state scheme item.

State Farmers Advisory Association President Rajaram Singh thanked Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha. The Sangh had demanded Rs 25,000 per month, but the approval of Rs 21,000 is also considered a major success after several years of struggle.
