‘Supreme Leader in good health’: Ayatollah Khamenei’s representative in India dismisses death rumours

New Delhi: Hours after the conflict escalated between Israel and Iran, speculation rose about the well-being of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei. Israel and the US struck deep into Iran, intending to change the regime.

Israeli TV reported that the Supreme Leader Khamenei had been killed in the strike, with the assessment suggesting the killing of the Iranian leader. The representative of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Khamenei, in India, Dr. Abdul Majid Hakeem Ilahi, confirmed that the Iranian leader is alive and in good shape.

Abdul Hakeem also said that Khamenei is never afraid of the US or any other leader. “Khamenei will continue by his dignity and wisdom, and I hope that we will win this war,” he added.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi also confirmed that all high-ranking officials are alive and the authorities are handling the situation. Whereas, Iran’s Al-Alam TV reported that Khamenei will address the people of Iran soon, ANI reported.

Dr. Abdul Hakeem condemned the US-Israel-led aggression on Iran, and he also said that currently Iran is negotiating and discussing to reach a diplomatic conclusion, and soon a good statement by Iran and the US will come up.

He condemned the US and Israel’s attack on civilians and hoped that international law and the United Nations would intervene in the matter and stop the war.

Supermarkets in northern Tehran witnessed a surge in sales as the people in Iran are seeking bread and bottled water. Long queues were also seen in the gas stations across Iran.
