SC Contempt Case: The Supreme Court on Monday clearly stated that the High Court judges can somehow be underestimated from the judges of the Supreme Court. What is the matter of Telangana High Court Judge?

The case began when the Telangana High Court dismissed a criminal case registered under the SC/ST Act against Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. The petitioner filed Transfer Petition in the Supreme Court and accused the High Court judge of bias and unfair conduct. On July 29, the Supreme Court dismissed the petition and said that such derogatory allegations are the Contempt of Court.

The top court bench made strict comments, saying that the High Court judges also have the same constitutional immunity as the judges of the Supreme Court. Just because there is a case of any political personality, it is wrong to assume that justice is not found.

The court said that when the draft voter list is formed, we should lodge objections, should not remain silent. The courts are not happy to punish the lawyers but it is necessary to protect dignity.

Unconditional Sanjay Hegde apologizes

The Supreme Court directed that the apology letter should be presented before the High Court Judge and the judges should decide on it within a week. Senior Advocate Sanjay Hegde (Sanjay Hegde) has already waived unconditional and without reservation in the court.
