Sunny Deol is making headlines with his stellar lineup of films, including Border 2 and Ramayana. Now, according to a new update, the acclaimed actor has shot the climax scene of another upcoming release, Soorya . The actor is said to have resumed shooting for the film three years after he last filmed in 2022.

In a recent interview with Mid-day, Soorya producer Deepak Mukut has mentioned that he is currently shooting action climax sequences with Sunny Deol, Ravi Kishan and Manish Wadhwa, “We are shooting a massive action scene on a set, reflecting a hospital, constructed at the Golden Tobacco Factory. Action director Ravi Varma is executing it along with a unit of over 350 people. It’s a hand-to-hand combat scene featuring Sunny.”
“In the film, Sunny has to fight a case. So, he is back to his Damini [1993] avatar, doing lots of action and mouthing dramatic dialogues as he seeks justice. This leg will be filmed on a set, in Naigaon perhaps. After that, we will begin post-production. We may release a teaser and trailer this year as we plan to release Soorya in early 2026.” he further added.
Sunny Deol in talks with YRF?
Earlier last month, in August, reports circulated that the actor is set to join hands with Yash Raj Films 30-years after their feud in the 1980s following the film Darr.
A source told Hindustan Times, “Sunny Deol had originally asked Mithoon to meet at Sunny Super Sound. But when Mithoon couldn’t break away from a recording session involving 80 choir singers, Deol was extremely humble and simply came down to YRF himself. There’s genuine magic between them. They’ve already proven their synergy on Gadar 2, and Mithoon’s haunting melodies in Border 2 won Sunny Deol over completely. Now, with Gabru, he insists on enlisting Mithoon for the film soundtrack.”
