The Deol family has been in the news ever since the demise of veteran actor Dharmendra. Especially the discussions were intense that there is sourness in the relationship between Hema Malini and her daughters Esha Deol-Ahana Deol and Prakash Kaur and her sons Sunny Deol-Bobby Deol. However, now Sunny Deol has put an end to all these rumours. Sunny Deol was seen smilingly posing for the camera with sisters Esha and Ahana Deol during the special screening of his film ‘Border 2’ in Mumbai. Many videos of this occasion are going viral on social media.
Deols’ family bond visible at the screening of ‘Border 2’
In this special screening held on Sunday, Isha and Ahana were seen standing on either side of Sunny Deol. Sunny placed her hand on both of their shoulders and got the pictures clicked in a very casual manner. Esha Deol was seen in a casual look in black-white checkered shirt and jeans, while Sunny was seen in off-white shirt-trousers and black cap. Ahana wore a sky-blue shirt and jeans. The trio thanked the paparazzi with a smile and then went inside the theatre. During this, Sunny was also seen showing the way to the sisters.

First public appearance after father’s death
This was the first time that Sunny Deol was seen in public with Isha and Ahana after the demise of father Dharmendra. Earlier, rumors of family differences had emerged when two separate prayer meets were held in Dharmendra’s memory, one by Sunny Deol and the other by Hema Malini. Dharmendra died in November 2025 due to age related complications. He was 89 years old.

‘Border 2’ is making waves at the box office
Talking about work front, Sunny Deol is celebrating the success of ‘Border 2’ these days. This historical war drama film, released on January 23, is running housefull across the country and has earned more than Rs 100 crore so far. Directed by Anurag Singh, this film is the sequel to the 1997 superhit ‘Border’. The film stars Sunny Deol along with Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty in important roles, while Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh and Medha Rana are also seen.
