According to Guruji, entry of Sun from the east is considered very auspicious. Even if the door of the house is not towards the east, the sun rays coming from the east bring auspiciousness in the house. This creates mental peace, good health, success in work, increase in income and positive emotions. The sun rays coming from the east are helpful in attaining health, fame and reputation. Especially the light coming from the east and north-east directions gives very auspicious results.
Sunlight coming into the house from the west is auspicious.
They say that Surya is called Namaskarpriya Bhanu and is considered the creator and father of the soul. There is a saying, Aarogyam Bhaskardichhet, that is, Bhaskar is considered to be the giver of health, hence the sun’s rays are beneficial for health. It is also considered auspicious for light to enter the house from the west direction in the evening i.e. at the time of sunset.
According to Vastu Shastra, it is considered inauspicious for the sun’s rays to enter the house from the south-west direction. If it is a temple or place of worship, then walking there with devotion is auspicious. Those living in apartments should pay attention to the amount of light coming into the house, even if the sun’s rays are not direct. Overall, it is very auspicious for the sun’s rays to enter the house, office, temple, courtyard, peak, window or door. Guruji has advised that the sun rays falling on the house fill the Vaastu of that house with strong, auspicious and positive energy.
