Sugar level test will be done without pain and needle, discovery of IIT Madras

sugar level check

While checking the sugar level with the machine, a light needle-like prick is felt on the finger, but now the scientists of IIT Madras have prepared a device which will check the sugar level without pain, it has been designed for diabetic patients. So that he can check his sugar level daily and there is no pain. Till now, in the machines available for testing blood sugar, the sample is taken by pricking a strip in the finger, although there are also devices like CDM but these are quite expensive. In such a situation, most of the people check the sugar level through a machine in which slight pain is felt.

Keeping these problems in mind, IIT scientists have prepared this device. According to Professor Swaminathan, the new device has been created. There will be no problem like needle prick in the finger and the test will be done in a better way. This device will be much cheaper than the existing machines. This new device is made of reusable electronics.

There will be no need to go to hospital for test

Professor Swaminathan says that this device has a low power display and a disposable microneedle sensor. With this device, people will be able to check their sugar level at a low cost at home and there will be no need to go to any lab or hospital, however, its real benefit will be when the common people get good results from it.

More than 10 crore diabetes patients

There are more than 10 crore diabetes patients in India. The number of patients of this disease is increasing every year. People are becoming victims of this due to wrong eating habits and spoiled lifestyle. Diabetes affects many parts of the body. Once this disease occurs, it never ends. It is only controlled.

Some diabetic patients check their sugar level two to three times a day and some every two or three days. The machines that come to check sugar at home cause pain like needle prick. With the help of the device of IIT scientists, people will get the facility of pain-free testing.
