Apparel park on Yamuna Expressway: Apparel park is being developed on 175 acres on Yamuna Expressway, which will become a hub of employment and exports. Out of the total 173 plots, 156 have been allotted and construction work has started in 15 units.
Lucknow/Greater Noida, 8 February. Yogi government is continuously taking concrete steps towards making Uttar Pradesh a major textile and apparel export hub of the country. In this context, the Apparel Park being developed in Yamuna Expressway Industrial Area is proving to be a milestone in the industrial scenario of the state. The project is not only attracting investment but also creating large scale employment opportunities for the youth. Apparel Park is being developed by the authority on 175 acres of land in Yamuna Expressway Industrial Area. In this, a total of 173 industrial plots of different sizes have been planned, which are being allotted to the units related to apparel and textile sector.
Increase in allocation, increasing confidence of investors
As of January 22, 2026, 156 plots have been allotted so far under the Apparel Park Scheme, while only 17 plots are vacant. So far, lease deeds have been executed in favor of 106 units and possession has also been handed over to 89 investors. These figures clearly show that investors’ confidence in the ease of doing business model of the Yogi government is continuously strengthening.
Construction process gained momentum
Now projects have started coming on the ground rapidly in Apparel Park. Under the scheme, till now checklists have been issued to 118 units, while building maps of 39 units have been approved. At the same time, construction work has started in 15 units. The government has sought action plans from all the allottees as per the DPR, so that the projects can be implemented within the stipulated time.
Yogi government’s focus on employment and exports
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision is to give Uttar Pradesh a strong place on the global export map through One District-One Product (ODOP) and textile policy. The Apparel Park is expected to provide benefits like thousands of direct and indirect employment, increase in readymade garments and textile exports, new platform for MSMEs and startups.
Land purchase process continues for remaining plots
Under Apparel Park, 17 plots of area of 33.5 acres are still left for allotment. Due to partial unavailability of land, the process of purchasing land is in progress, instructions have been given to complete it soon. Due to Yamuna Expressway, international airport, better connectivity and industry-friendly policies, Uttar Pradesh is emerging as the first choice of investors today. Apparel Park is a strong example of this, which seems to be realizing the development, employment and export based vision of Yogi government on the ground.
