Hyderabad: Secunderabad Stallions registered a convincing 78-54 victory over Birla Blazers in the second match of the Sub-Junior & Youth League 2026 for Boys and Girls conducted by the Hyderabad District Basketball Association.

Stallions, who led 35-26 at half time, produced a dominant performance to seal the match. Karthik was the star performer for Secunderabad Stallions, scoring 12 of the team’s 21 points in the opening quarter as they established a strong 21-4 lead. Manvith also combined effectively, while Mulla Vasist added valuable points with his attacking moves in the second quarter.

Birla Blazers fought back strongly in the second period, with Rishon Reuben leading the charge by scoring 20 of his team’s 22 points to reduce the deficit at half time. After the change of ends, both teams matched each other with attacking play, but Stallions maintained control through the combined efforts of Karthik and Vasist.

Secunderabad Stallions extended their lead to 59-45 at the end of the third quarter. Though Bhavesh scored five consecutive points in the final quarter for Birla Blazers, Stallions continued their momentum, scoring 19 points while restricting their opponents to just nine. The match was eventually won comfortably by Secunderabad Stallions 78-54. The matches scheduled for July 21 were postponed due to inclement weather.
