Hyundai has launched the 2026 Exeter facelift, with prices starting at ₹5.80 lakh. It has been given minor design changes, new dual-tone cabin and some new features. No changes have been made to the engine.
hmDai has launched the 2026 facelift model of its popular compact crossover Exter in India. Some minor design changes and many new features have been added to this new car. Its ex-showroom price starts from Rs 5.80 lakh and goes up to Rs 9.42 lakh. No changes have been made to the engine. Like its new generation Venue and Verna facelift, the company has now changed the names of the variants of the new Exter.
What has changed?
First of all let’s talk about the interior. The new 2026 Hyundai Exeter facelift now gets a new dual-tone cabin in navy blue and gray colors in place of the old all-black interior. Additionally, the new flat-bottom steering wheel, new faux carbon-fibre design on the dashboard and updated semi-fabric upholstery on the seats further add to its premium look.
Talking about the features, the new Exeter now comes with adjustable headrests on the rear seats and a height-adjustable seat for the driver as standard. Additionally, the compact crossover also includes features like a Type-C USB port for rear passengers, a separate armrest for the driver’s seat, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay through a portable adapter, and new metal pedals.
From the outside, the front look of the car has been refreshed. It has a newly designed grill, silver trim at the bottom and black finished bumper. The ‘Exter’ badging has also been changed slightly. The wheel arches look sportier than before and it also gets newly designed alloy wheels. Other design highlights of the car include a new C-pillar garnish, black finished rear bumper and a new split spoiler.

The new Hyundai Exeter has the same 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine as before. This engine comes with 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox options. This motor generates maximum power of 83 bhp and torque of 114 Nm. Whereas, in the CNG variant, a dual-cylinder CNG kit has been installed under the boot floor. In CNG mode, this car gives power of 69 bhp and torque of 95 Nm.
