Hi-tech cyber commando team prepared on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi

Cyber/CID DG Binod Kumar Singh said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had given instructions to take strict and effective action against the increasing cyber crimes in the state. In this sequence, as per the intention of the Chief Minister, a 15-member cyber commando team equipped with state-of-the-art technology has been formed. This team will not only curb cyber fraud and digital crimes, but will also play an important role in providing a safe digital environment to the common citizens.

Special training taken from IIT and National Security Institutes

These cyber commandos have been trained by experts from top technical and security institutes of the country. These include IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, Naya Raipur, National Defense University (RRU), Gujarat and National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU). Here they have been given intensive training in cyber forensics, digital tracing, online crime investigation and modern technologies, so that they can reach cyber criminals faster.

Cyber ​​commandos will also provide training to police at district and police station level.

DG Cyber ​​said that the 15 cyber commandos selected in the first phase have been selected on the basis of technical proficiency, analytical ability and field experience. These commandos will further train district and police station level policemen, which will increase their ability to deal with cyber crime in the entire state manifold. After training, they have been deployed at the police zone and headquarters level, so that prompt and technical action can be taken as soon as information about any cyber crime is received.
