The Supreme Court has made the strictest comment so far regarding stray dogs. Regarding the increasing attacks on children and the elderly, the court has raised the question – “When a 9-year-old child is attacked by dogs, who will be responsible?” The Supreme Court said that dogs carry a virus for which there is no cure. Citing the example of Ranthambore National Park, the court said that even tigers got infected with the incurable disease due to the bite of dogs.
