Stress Managent OPD: Delhi Government will start AYUSH Stress Management OPD, these patients will benefit

New OPD services in Delhi

In view of the diagnosis of stress and mental health problems and its increasing side effects on the mental and physical health of the citizens of Delhi, the Delhi government is to start “AYUSH Stress Management Out Petails Departments” (OPD) in the capital Delhi. Through these OPDs, the government will provide proof-based AYUSH treatment services for early identification of mental stress related problems, timely treatment and stress management.

Delhi Health Minister Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh said that such OPD will be working in Delhi’s chief Ayush Medical Colleges and Hospitals, including Ayurvedic and Unani Tibeta College and Hospital, Nehru Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Chaudhary Brahma Prakash Ayurveda Charak Sansthan, Dr. BR. Along with Sur Medical College and Hospital, the existing AYUSH units established in Ihbas Hospital are included. OPD services will be available on the time of regular OPD every Tuesday and Thursday of every week.

Relief will be given from mental problems

Under this important initiative of the Delhi government, citizens will get the benefit of specially prepared AYUSH medical practices, including herbal medicines, homeopathic medicines, Panchakarma, Yoga and Meditation Modules, Lifestyle Consultation with Pranayam. Through which special attention will be paid to reducing anxiety, fatigue, insomnia and mental stress, other emotional problems i.e. mental diseases, as well as the overall health quality of people’s lives will also increase.

Health Minister Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh said that this program will be implemented across Delhi in a phased manner. First of all, services will start in five OPDs in the swimming of the pilot project and then the plan will be expanded to 11 units (one in each district) later. Cooperation will be taken from excellent institutions like National Council of Research and ICMR to confirm the results of the scheme. Which will be evaluated on the basis of stress index, patient satisfaction and clinical results.

Through Ayush Stress Management OPD, we are providing a holistic, preventive and accessible solutions to every citizens of Delhi by adding traditional medical practices and modern health priorities of India. This initiative will not only reduce the increasing burden of patients on government hospitals, but will also enable individuals to live more healthy, balanced and stress-free life.

The Health Minister said that this initiative of our government directly supports the objectives of National AYUSH Mission (NAM), National Mental Health Program (NMHP), Fit India Movement and WHO Traditional Medicine Strategy, so that the capital Delhi can become an ideal state of coordinated health service and wellness and our government can complete the vision of healthy Delhi, strong Delhi.
