Newborn’s severed head found in stray dog’s mouth near maternity ward
The incident took place on Sunday, when people present in the hospital premises saw a stray dog roaming near the maternity ward carrying the severed head of a newborn baby. This scene was so scary that the relatives and staff of the patients present in the hospital were shocked. An atmosphere of panic and anger was created in the entire campus.
Eyewitnesses saw, security guards were alerted
According to sources, some people first saw the dog roaming with the remains. After this the security guards were immediately informed. As soon as the incident came to light, there was an uproar in the hospital premises and people became very scared.
Police reached the spot after the uproar
Seeing the situation worsening, police were called to the spot. The police took control of the hospital premises and started investigating the entire matter. After the incident, questions have also been raised on the role of the hospital administration. Police said that a thorough investigation is being done to find out where the remains came from and under what circumstances the incident took place. Police officer Sudipto Das said, “People saw the dog carrying away the child’s head, which was a very disturbing scene. Senior officials were immediately informed about this.”
