The matter came to light when a girl studying in her younger brother’s class told her elder sister that she had received a valuable gift. Actually, to express his love for his friends and classmates, the child had cut one piece each from his mother’s gold wedding chain and gifted it to them. The daughter told this to the mother. Knowing this the father beat the child. The mother wrote that at first she got angry, but later she thought it all like a joke.
To know the truth of what his daughter said, he looked at the wedding chain kept in the cupboard, but it was not there. After this, when the CCTV footage was seen, the son was seen removing the chain. The video also showed that the child had been cutting the chain into pieces with lighters, cutters and even teeth for several days.
