At the time when the sun of the Mughal Sultanate was on the verge of drowning, Naseeruddin was immersed in alcohol, shabab and mausiki. The Alam of his colorful was such that he was known as the emperor less ‘Rangeela’. In a special garden in the middle of the Red Fort, there used to be a separate place of Tawaifs of Old Delhi. Noor had to know about Kohinoor
Noor Bai was no common tawaif. To see him, the big rich people used to sit with the eyelids all the time. She used to take precious gifts and money from the nobles to ignore her. It is said about Noor Bai that Mughal emperor Muhammad Shah had also become crazy about Noor Bai. The magic of Nur’s beauty had climbed on Muhammad Shah so much that two elephants were always standing outside the mansion of Noor Bai. Noor Bai used to ride on these elephants and roam the streets of Delhi. Noor’s style made the Mughal emperor crazy that he wanted Noor Bai to be present around him all the time. Due to being so close to the Mughal emperor, it came to know about the precious diamond that she often used to hear. It was not a common diamond. This was Kohinoor. Naseeruddin used to keep this diamond in his turban. Only a few people knew about this secret, in which Noor Bai was also one.
Noor Bai was cheated, cheated
Noor Bai had no attachment to Mughal emperor Muhammad Shah at any time. She was waiting for the time when the wheel of time wandered and she left Muhammad Shah. It is said that when Nadir Shah of Iran attacked Delhi, then the intention of Noor Bai got upset. He cheated the Mughal emperor and informed Nadir Shah about Muhammad Shah’s precious diamond. On receiving this information, Nadir Shah showed cunning and called Muhammad Shah for peace agreement. After this, he played the game of changing the turban in the name of custom and Kohinoor went into the hands of Nadir Shah.
Kohinoor was snatched away from the Mughal Sultanate forever due to Noor’s deception. Nadir Shah may be considering himself as very powerful after getting Kohinoor diamond, but he did not know that one day a bloody history would be written due to this diamond. Today Kohinoor is in a crown as the pride of the British royal family.
